On August 16th, our club held a dignity bag packing event at Blend Cafe in Jacksonville, North Carolina.

What is a “Dignity Bag”?
For our club, a Dignity Bag is a zippered pouch that we lovingly fill with period products such as tampons and pads. We prepare and give away these bags to unhoused people, domestic violence shelters, and middle and high schools. For so many people, not having access to pads and tampons means staying home from work or school.
With the help of our members, our friends, and our community, we packed 200 period kits with 800 menstrual pads that will help support Riverside Leadership Academy as their girls get started back this school year.

We had a great showing of members and friends as we spent some time socializing and then packing up the bags. You being there and showing up in so many ways is what makes us impactful!
