Rotary International designates September as Basic Education and Literacy Month to highlight its commitment to strengthening communities’ capacity to support education, reduce gender disparity in education, and increase adult literacy worldwide.

Unite Against Book Bans is a national American Library Association initiative to empower readers everywhere to stand together in the fight against censorship.
